What says happy birthday to yourself better than a cocktail bar outing? Ok, ok, maybe a few other things come to mind but I do love having an excuse to try out new places. The mixologist at Rogue 24 created a beautiful springtime blend of Aylesbury Duck Vodka (Canada), Combier liqueur, pear & fennel shrub, celery bitters and lemon – with a thyme garnish. First time he’s ever made the drink hence the lack of a cocktail name.
So, tonight instead of Cheers, it’s Happy Birthday to me!
