Best of 2013: Craft Cocktails

Six of the very best cocktails I had the privilege of experiencing during 2013….

Of these six, Thai Down from The Chandelier Bar was my ultimate favorite. A blend of Milagro Blanco Tequila, Domaine de Canton, strawberry purée, Thai chili basil syrup, and Thai basil leaves; this cocktail was definitely inspired by the world. A ginger liqueur hailing from France, Thai basil known for its Asian roots, Mexican tequila, etc.  For me, it was the perfect balance of savory and spicy — memorable to say the least.
